I got an OED from Presh, the compact new edition. I am in heaven.
It is funny, I love words and meanings but grammar rules confuse me. 54. Grammar gets in the way of rhythm and meter.

This is really against character. Jumping in without any understanding of consequence. But, I am ready and apparently that means teachers will show. 1626.

There is an OED on my workstation and I used it to look up a word Doc used. In this context, I think we will go with glue like as the definition. 1628.
