Coffee Cups 1137 and 1138
Posted by Lloyd Y. Asato | Filed under Poetics of Peet's

Today was a very interesting day. I got to meet Andrea Evans an artist who paints to explore that which she experiences. I want to say I blog to explore that which I experience. No, I blog because it amuses me that people look at and read about my coffee cups. I no longer do the introspection part, but it sounds better if I say it that way. I blog to explore that which I experience.
I do experience things differently now that I blog, but will spend little time pondering that. 1137.

Today, I told a reporter that it is too difficult to maintain relationships in real life, let alone on MySpace, and that is why I am not on MySpace. Which is not really true cause I am on MySpace. I also met Nash IRL for the first time. And he is my new favorite friend cause when asked why he blogs said, “cause I am anti-social.” Dude!
Will you be my friend? 1138.

I am interviewed by Noveltown. The interviewer, N.L. Belardes writes in his intro:
That doesn’t mean Lloyd isn’t a doer. And no, he doesn’t just sit in coffeehouses. Recently, Asato started a project called “The One Million Splotz of Glue Campaign”. His website states, “It begins with a question. What do you do to build community? Your answer, the action that you do to build community, is what we call Splotz of Glue.
Well, sadly, yeah, I do. But, I also do other stuff. It was a fun interview and you may read it here:
