Princess has been bugging me to send in a guest cup, so here it is. The shorter cup on the right is Princess’s Jasmine Tea Latte while the cup on the left is one of those mocha things I tend to get when I get coffee. This is a new coffee shop in Manoa across the street from Starbucks that is actually cutting into Starbuck’s business. True, it is still a chain…
Mele Kalikimaka me ka Hau`oli Makahiki Hou to both you and Presh
Guest Cups 60 and 61 are from my dear friends drtrango and Princess. I love the Bean and get most of my dessert lattes from them. I do not think drtrango or Princess blogs, though they are avid geocachers. I think they should blog life in their new town. A photoblog would also be cool. They live in the most beautiful part of the country (and my absolutely favorite place). Thank you for the cup and the holiday greetings. May 2006 bring you adventure and toys.
Couldn’t find my camera, so had to make do with a shot from my isight.
Here’ s a delicious cup of french pressed coffee. It is made from the Green Ones whole bean coffee we got from a friend who works there. They get a pound of free coffee a week, and he was gracious enough to share the caffeinated wealth.
The coffee is one of the few things that keeps me cranking through the day in the winter. The short days are more bearable when they are punctuated with hot good stuff.
Merry Christmas to you and Presh!
Guest Cup 58 is from my friend (and former advisorling) Mary, aka djlemur. Mary is my favorite writer of all time, though she never lets me read what she writes. Occaisionally, she will point me to her blog (currently, frink! script! ptank!). I just noticed that she goes by lemurs now. Dearest Mary you shall always be djlemur to me. Presh sends warmth and I wish you a Happy Christmas. Did you see what I did in your honour? 50000monkeys.thecoolkids.us A lemur is a kind of monkey, non? Thank you for the cup, Mary – kisses to Dragons.
iTripped said that you could use our coffee as guest coffees. very exciting. if you’re ever in Vancouver, come out to UBC for lunch and you can be my guest lunch. http://lunchatthevillage.blogspot.com
I attached my coffee to this mail. not sure which one you’d want, since my mug is enjoyable from both sides. and if you want to know what the coffee is, it’s an eggnog latte from starbucks. if you just wanted normal coffee, lemme know. I can do that, too.
Guest Cup 56 is from gwilli of the lunchatthevillage blog. He is my brother-in-blog – he shoots his lunches and posts them. They have some really tasty looking food up there. With the exception of the burgers, it looks like our tastes match pretty well. I will take you up on that offer next time (which will be my first time) I am in the UBC. Thanks for the cup!
