Okay, if you are following along at home it is currently the middle of February and I am trying to catch up on all the posts. Remember the conceit of this blog is that the posts do not necessarily occur on the day posted. The cups have been consumed on the day posted, but the post may appear late. 1497.
I write this around Cup 1592. It has been one of those months. In the past ninety-something cups I have left Government work completely, started my own design shop, and dinged 65 on my alt. Details, of course, to follow. Thank you for reading. 1498.

Mother who is retiring this year from teaching middle school does not understand how one can leave Government work. I have done so three or four times. I lose count. Each time is supposed to be different and each time I am disappointed. 1499.
Tony (no link to the show as the site has gone offline) once asked me if I could do what I do on my own. At the time I thought the idea ridiculous. Now not so much. We shall see. 1500.
