The office move did not go well. The space we were to move to was not ready, so we are delayed a week. I will need to unpack and set up a temporary office somewhere.

Still have not done laundry, or unpacked from Phoenix for that matter. I am, however, very excited about heading to Gnomedex 5.0. My first fun conference this year. 512.

And I need to mark this day though I cannot talk about it yet. Today was the day I looked Lady Luck in the eye and asked her if she loved me. She has yet to respond. Stay tuned… 513.

I am sitting amongst boxes trying to figure out what to unpack so that I can set up a temporary office. I try not to unpack too much because I will spend part of this day repacking. I am out of the office till Monday, when the move is scheduled to continue.

What a way to run an opera. 514.

I am ready for a break… Next stop Gnomedex. 515.
Was asked today, “Why are you going to Gnomedex? How did you get invited?” Laugh. You pays your money, Chris lets you go. No invites, I blog on the other side of the velvet rope.
So why am I going to Gnomedex? I work all day with policy wonks and wonkettes. I miss geeking out. I really miss geeking out.

Packing for Gnomedex. I usually pack the night before but was too tired. So the alarm goes off early and I pack in a rush. I can do this blurry-eyed and in the dark – I travel so much.

Presh is off to the big city for dinners with family and shopping in malls with escalators. 516.

Presh is smart, she realized a long time ago that I needed a vacation. She made me promise to not do any work and to have fun. I agree. This is fun. 517.
