Cups Six, Seven, and Eight

I began writing The Coffee Sessions today as I sat down to my morning cuppa.
I am a writer. I get paid to write. But it is technical writing.
It took me awhile to realize and then realize this dream of writing. I guess I always wanted to be a real writer but could never be honest enough to be a good writer. So I became a technical writer. But this year the rhythms are changing.
I had a grin on my face as I started this seventh cup. It feels good to write. To slowly tentatively explore truth. Small “t” for now.
Two hours blurred between the seventh and this eighth cup. Two hours spent on understanding why I am trying to get the band back together. I am taking the last sip of the eighth as I write this.
Twelfth Cup; or, What You Will

For this twelfth cup I head to Duke Orsino’s palace. It is a travel day. Usually first flight/last flight out of and back into my regional airport. Today the Duke is kind and I can leave on the second flight. I still get back after nightfall.
Though heading to the second flight, which leaves at 8:58 a.m. instead of 6:40 a.m., I run late. Coffee must wait until after I land. I am offered a cuppa on the plane – but seriously…
25th and 26th Cups of Love

Actually awoke in a good mood.
The morning coffee was late as I lounged and watched the feed. Presh slept in late and I lost track of time. The first cuppa appeared around noon. Twenty-five.
The next one soon after. Nothing like a fresh cup on a Sunday roundabout noon. Twenty-six.
