Printer not found.

So, I am trying to print a proof. I click print options and my printer is not there. I had just installed Leopard so I figure the drivers got messed up. It is early. I dig up the Canon disk and reinstall. Nothing, no printer. Dammit. I check the message boards for printer driver problems. Nothing that matches my problem.
Pause.
Turn printer on.
Solved.
