Late afternoon latte.

Latte from Roadrunner Espresso on the Beeline Highway. Who says there is no coffee in Payson? The latte, by the way, did not suck - just the way I like it.

iPhone Dock audio jack

iphone dock photo

I plugged my external speakers into the iPhone dock’s audio plug. Pretty good sound, but was disappointed that while music can be directed to external speakers my phone calls are not. Anyone figure out a way to do this?

Google Finance pages have a discussion group.

Well, this is interesting. Google’s Finance page has a discussion group.

Google Finance is a great way to find corporate contact information, which you can use to connect with executive service team members. Not your first call, mind you. But if a company’s customer service is poor or combative, as in my recent experience with T-Mobile, this can put you in contact with people empowered and motivated to solve your problems. Usually…

Well, I just found out that Google Finance has a discussion group.

I posted my experience with T-Mobile on their Google Finance discussion group - http://finance.google.com/finance?cid=1739399. I first needed to sign up using my Google account (in this case I used my gmail address). After which I was allowed to post to the group. According to their guidelines posts are moderated and mine was held in a queue for a moderator to review. I posted around 8:00 p.m. MST and the post was approved by a Google moderator about 45 minutes later.

You may join in the conversation about T-Mobile here - http://finance.google.com/group/google.finance.1739399/topics.

Screwed by T-Mobile - How about you?

After getting our iPhones we cancelled our T-Mobile account. We called the customer service line cancelled our service and was told our service would end on a certain date.

Needless to say. T-Mobile did not cancel our account and continues to bill us. When we call the customer service line to inquire they claim that they have no record of our canceling the service. So we cancel again.

A quick Googling shows that this happens a lot to T-Mobile customers. With T-Mobile continuing to bill for service after a customer cancels and if the bills are refused sending the account to a collections agency.

Poor training, inept leadership, and bad processes can explain some of these incidents. But, with the number of stories I am hearing I wonder if something more is going on?

What has been your experience?

I should contact Robert P. Dotson and ask him if it is poor training, inept leadership, or bad processes that allows this to happen or if it is something more sinister.

How hot is it?

photo.jpg

This restaurant in north central Phoenix gets points for putting a green neophrene thing on the door handle. Today the high is likely to be 110. That would tie the record for most days above 110 at 28 days. That is like a month of days above 110. BTW, I am not sure what neighborhood I am in. It is not CenPho, nor the Biltmore. North central is what I shall call it.
