Sticky iPhone Slider

I began having that iPhone stuck slider problem. My initial thought was a dirty screen. The problem manifested itself in an unresponsive slider. I would receive a call and be unable to answer it because the slider (to answer) would not, uhm, slide.
Not sure what is causing this feature/bug, but the remedy is a simple reboot. Did that and it is working as my Uncle Bob.
