During which I reflect upon experience.

Had a great lunch conversation with really smart passionate people today. We talked about a lot of things and my head is still spinning. I like when that happens.
One of the topics, as it tends to be when I talk to really smart passionate people, was about leadership. In this case, who gets my money this political season. Currently, I am supporting Obama despite his lack of experience.
Experienced was the word brought up to describe the other guy.
They made a compelling argument in support of the other guy’s leadership experience. Besides being smart and passionate, I am reminded that they were (or at least one of them was) a member of my alma mater’s storied debating team.
I suck at debate and would make a poor debater in spite of my sireage. I am the read and reflect guy.
I think now that it is because of his experience that I like Obama. I want someone with his personal history to be my president. I want to know that someone like Obama can win in 2008.
