Coffee Cups 1726 and 1727

I am absolutely fried. I spent the entire evening doing a clean install on the Vaio. You may have caught the live feed at www.theyearofcoffee.com. Not to sound like a typical Mac fanboy, but holy crap Windows sucks. The reason for the clean install was because after doing a Windows update through Internet Explorer I got repeated freezes or BSODs. Everyone I know has switched to a Mac or is seriously considering it. Even the die hard Windows apologists have had enough. 1726.

So why bother? Why indeed… 1727.

Coffee Cups 1724 and 1725

The Aussies are on me again about my coffee. Something about a girl’s blouse - hinting that my coffee is weak. 1724.

The Year of Coffee has gone live 24/7. You may catch the feed here: www.theyearofcoffee.com. It is mostly of me at my desk, and yes, it is live. Later in the week we will try a live remote feed from Tempe Town Lake. And of course the live taping of The Coffee Sessions. This time around we will have a conference bridge so you can call in with your questions.

Deacon wonders if I have suddenly turned extroverted. No, this is not a cry for attention. I am testing this technology to see if we could use it to deliver distance learning classes over the public internet. The live streaming works great. Both sound and video are very good. We mash that with the conference bridge and Bob’s your uncle.

Besides I have a new parking lot, and it is us. 1725.

Coffee Cup 1723

coffee cup 1723

I have queued up the next Coffee Sessions Podcast guest, a graphic designer for the Center on Disabilities Studies.

I wish I ran tape during our conversation with Todd Cochrane of Geek News Central. That would have made a great podcast. I did discover a co-host though. I better make sure Deacon is available for the session with Vanessa. Stay tuned. 1723.
