Coffee Cups 1712 and 1713

I watched the world change again this evening. A mashing of technologies has opened up a new space for communication. As CNN Headline News was broadcasting a story about Imus’ missing hat, a bunch of geeks were playing with a new technology and I watched as a light went off. 1712.
It is the same light I saw go off when we started talking about podcasting all those years ago. The world has changed again. I wonder how long it will take people to notice? 1713.
