Coffee Cup 1662

We are out of half and half and eggos so we prepare for an errand run. But it is a beautiful night and Presh has a cool convertible.
I suggest we leave it up to fate instead and flip two coins. Heads/heads we head north. Heads/tails we go east. Tails/tails we go south and so forth. I am about to flip two dimes when I realize a flaw in my fate system.
I swap a dime for a nickel and add a rule - first position dime, second position nickel.
I am hoping for tails/heads or west as there is sushi and a beach in that direction. North gets us to Vegas and south to Mexico. I flip the coins.
It is heads/tails. East? I should have thought this through further. East goes to, uhm, New Mexico. The land of enchantment via Globe, Showlow, Miami, and Pie Town.
One must listen to fate. We head east. 200 miles later finds us back home.
The desert was beautiful and the drive fun. No moon so we saw stars after the light pollution faded. I used to live in a place where I could see all of the stars. 1662.
