More things you did not know about me.
I was a guest on a local talk show along with three other researchers. I was prepared to talk about the futures of sustainability. I was instead asked about Heidegger or Hegel and history. I babbled a bit, gave a stupid look and started talking about the futures of sustainability then trailed off. The host quickly jumped to my friend who gave what I guess was a brilliant answer. I did not hear it. The host did come back to me later with some softball question but it was all a blur.
They were polite after the shooting but I was mortified. My only consolation was that the program would run opposite the Super Bowl. I figured no one would watch it. I was wrong. It was the last time I would ever do live television. 1601.
