Coffee Cup 1494
Posted by Lloyd Y. Asato | Filed under Poetics of Peet's
Any year that begins with you spent, hungover, battered and bruised, and in Vegas, well, that is a good year. First cup of 2007 was from the swiss chocolate place in the Desert Passage. We have more fish for lunch and enjoy the after Christmas sales at the outlet mall. We are entertained on the way back by the Charger’s Sirius satellite radio. Sirius is seriously cool. We do the In and Out thing for dinner and get back in time for the last five minutes of the Fiesta Bowl. There where several things that did not suck today. 1494.

I stole Presh’s scarf and knitted hat and bought gloves and a new jacket. My previous hats did not cover my ears. 1495.
Still no snow shovel or ice saw. I did receive new flashlights, though. 1496.

Okay, if you are following along at home it is currently the middle of February and I am trying to catch up on all the posts. Remember the conceit of this blog is that the posts do not necessarily occur on the day posted. The cups have been consumed on the day posted, but the post may appear late. 1497.
I write this around Cup 1592. It has been one of those months. In the past ninety-something cups I have left Government work completely, started my own design shop, and dinged 65 on my alt. Details, of course, to follow. Thank you for reading. 1498.
