Coffee Cup 1374

Tricks not treats for dinner. The first two choices were closed. One, I think, has closed for good. The next choice was a fast food chicken joint. When the five minute wait turned into twenty-plus minutes we got our money back and moved on. The goat finally fed us and we are ever so grateful for that. 1374.

Because people still ask, the photos in the header above are of Presh and I. The two at the far right were taken in the early seventies. The two in the middle were taken in the late eighties. The two on the left were taken in the late nineties or early 2000. What is this decade called? The zeroes? Anyone? 1373.

On that subject, St. Louis and Detroit were named the most dangerous cities. St Louis wins the series and Detroit was arguably the best team in baseball this past year. 1372.

Interlude 63 - Home that was.

harbour

I grew up a few kilometres from here and used to work in one of those buildings. The financial district overlooks the harbour. There is a fish auction there. Every now and then we would burn the night and end up watching the auction. We would then go for fresh donuts.
