If it is not one thing…
I was at Ironforge when the screen goes blank, five minutes of DG and the smell hits me. Burning. At least it is the brick and not the motherboard. Just another one of those things…

I can see again.
Well, LensCrafters finally called this morning. Let us see. That means “ready in about an hour” was one hundred thirty-six and a half hours. Oh and, E. was not in. Probably just a coincidence?
I am addicted to Deal or No Deal. I am not sure why and it makes me feel a little dirty. But it is fascinating, and the only other thing (Lost) that I DVR. If I were on DonD, I would pick 26, which is my lucky number. Then I would select each case in order. One, then two, and let it ride all the way.
Deacon is confirmed for Memorial Day weekend. Was going to take him to Mexico but I cannot get a room in Rocky Point. Any other suggestions?
Dude just won 340,000 USD on DonD.

Saying goodbye.

We said goodbye to Robbie in a ceremony on campus. It was quite a send off. One that, I think, he would have gotten a kick out of. Drive safe, everyone, for Robbie.

In the Biodome.
I am not too proud to say that I loved our trip to and into the BioDome. I had very low expectations going in, and was hoping for at least a spectacle. There is the sublime and there is the cool, and this was very cool.
Breakfast was at Waffle House. I heart Waffle House. This time though, they were training new employees so it was very chaotic and they got my order was wrong. But the waffles are tasty, with or without being called hun.
Then the short trip up to BioDome. Then the longer drive back home. Then a nap. And now an update.
No word from LensCrafters, which makes “ready in about an hour” over one hundred twenty-three hours and counting.

I now know where copper comes from.
Copper is mined from the ground. But it does not come out in chunks like gold nuggets. It is an ore and must be blown up, then ground, then smashed, then bubbled with gooey pine oil, then smelted (I think that has to do with heat) and finally shipped to Texas. So copper comes from Texas.
The big ass tire is from a mining dump truck. I do not know where the family is from.
We also visited the San Xavier Mission and casino, saw MIIII, and ate at Arby’s. After I update this blog, we will cuddle up to the Zorro sequel on pay per view. All in all a very full day.
Tomorrow, we head to BioDome 2 and maybe the Titan Missile Museum.
LensCrafters? Still sucking as “ready in about an hour” becomes 99 and a half hours and counting.
