The Last Cup.
Posted by Lloyd Y. Asato | Filed under Poetics of Peet's
There have been others, but it was when I shot this one that I knew the journey was over. I started this project to change the rhythms of my life and a thousand cups later it had changed. I kept shooting, but the peeps were right. The year ended. The blog should, too. An epilogue may come later, if an elegant one should present itself.
Right, then. Thank you for reading, for the friendship, and all the fish. It has been real… It truly has.
Lloyd.

I can hear in the tone of your post that this is the right decision, but I’m sorry to see the year end, nevertheless. I’ve looked forward to seeing your posts in my reader. They’ve always felt like palate-cleansers after a long feed session — simple, refreshing, and satisfying.
But without getting too cliche, I hope, one door closes and another one opens. Or should that be, one cup empties, another is poured?

Lloyd, holy crap! I’ve been out of sorts with SXSW and I turn on my feedreader today and see this. Sad to see it end, but what a great experiment. Hope to see you cook something else up that makes you happy. Be well, my brother. What a great final cup.

Lloyd,
Let’s see if we can kill the Tim and Tony Show too. Those guys are a waste of DNA.
