Coffee Cups 738, 739, 740, and 741

I guess it could be worse. I could be in Hell A and be a Dodger fan. Can someone say sweep?

Instead, I am a DBacks fan in Phoenix. I feel Mike’s pain. But there is always the fall league, and the-wait-till-next-year hope of a true fan. 738.

Dbacks suck, Cards are sucking, Coyotes get a honeymoon but it does not look good. Like I know anything aboot hockey… 739.

In case you did not know which way my political leans here is a hint. I am the same as buddy Mike. This surprises folks because of the people I have worked for (a certain former Secretary of State’s organization, not to mention various Republican administrations). They were moderate pro-choice mostly compassionate Republicans. But still… 740.

Can you spell sellout? 741.

Hey! Rising to the defense of sunny Los Angeles, but to be honest, it has been rather hellish here, what with the fires and the santa ana winds and the super hot weather. That said, I’m not a sports fan. What happened to the Dodgers?

The little boys in blue were swept (lost three of three) by the Diamondbacks (who happen to be from Phoenix) last night.
As a former Studio City resident I admit there is lots I love about Los Angeles. Dinners in five or six languages, the newstands at midnight, the former Mrs. Gooch’s, and okay Chaves Ravine was a very nice park in its day.
Finally, let me say you will get no sympathy from me about your so called super hot weather but lots regarding the Santa Anas. Just know that if the ground starts shaking again head east. We are just off the 10.
