Coffee Cup 593
My final first flight day. We got up extra early to get the car to the shipper. We can pick it up in San Diego in 10 days.

593. Too many things remain and the pressure is building…

Coffee Cups 591 and 592
This is my last day in the new office. I had a quiet day scheduled. Lunch with my assistant then slip out the back.

Then the pipe burst in the bathroom. We noticed it after maybe 50 gallons poured into the hallway, down to the meeting room, and into the computer lab and finally into my office. 591.

We got it cleaned up by 3:00 p.m. I said my goodbyes and without looking back, left. 592.

Coffee Cups 589 and 590
I love USPS media rate. My DVD/CD/book collection has been saved. My Criterion VHSs have also been saved. The rest will be sold/donated.

UPS gets the rest of the shipping. Printers and electronic toys tools have been packed, about $40 to $60 per box - ground. That works. 589.

The rest goes on sale when I get back. 590.

Coffee Cups 587 and 588
Staff meetings continue. Brain dump continues. I think the planning staff is ready to answer every question or at least knows where to go for the answers. I am feeling more at ease with leaving and totally freaked out that that day is coming awfully soon.

If you were to pack everything you have in three suitcases what would you take? Do you keep photos or scan them and dump them? Do you sell your CD collection? How many place settings is enough? What about the ladder? I really like that ladder. 587.

If you were to sell everything you own what price would you place on things? What is the calculus to determine “keep and ship vs. sell”? Where would you set the upset price? Want to buy a 1994 Jetta III? 588.
