√?rsta Havsbad is a little village by the Baltic Sea in Haninge: http://www.haninge.se/templates/Page.asp?id=3239 a municipality 20 km south of Stockholm. It was built as a seaside resort many years ago. There’s is a lovely beach there, I have a few panorama pictures from there, like this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/steffe/5189814/in/set-53137/ and from above towards the sea, and the place where we celebrate Midsummer: http://www.flickr.com/photos/steffe/1345450/in/set-53137/ The bay you can see at the kabanossen picture is called H√?rsfj√?rden. A small port where ferrys leave for the archipelago to the islands of Ut√∂, Orn√∂ and Musk√∂ and Stockholm as well. Here is a little panorama from the harbour: http://www.flickr.com/photos/steffe/17582949/ and here is the kiosk where I shot the kabanossen pic: http://www.flickr.com/photos/steffe/17785655/in/photostream/ Back in the eighties the military used to bomb the area as they were chasing russian submarines, Me and my friends used to watch the spectacle from the little harbour. here is a military link: http://www.4minkriflj.mil.se/?lang=E I come here every month on my bike to visit the beach on a sunny day and to take pictures of the area from winter, spring summer and autumn. The coffee and the kabanossen tasted just fine by the way! If you need more info just ask.
