Hi there!
Long ago I linked you from my blog and you offered me a guest cup. Well, I’ve been a combination of crazy-busy and crazy-lazy since then, but finally I’ve got my biz together and I’d love to take you up on the offer. Coffee pic= attached. and a wee descrip:
Once upon a time there was a little cup of coffee keeping watch over a rough Washington, DC neighborhood. It was a warm, sunny morning in the District, and the alley below was, for a change, quiet and ruckus-free. So, the cup of coffee was content to simply be. It knew it was made from beans that weren’t especially fresh, it knew that the coffee-pot-owner should have cleaned out the pot better before brewing fresh coffee, and it knew it probably wasn’t the tastiest cup ever. But the little cup found it was content to simply steam on the windowsill, soaking up the early morning sunlight, before being lovingly and quietly sipped.
The end.
Sincerely,
ms. thingk

Guest Cup 44 is from Ms. Thingk one of the smart articulate denizens of my favorite city. I was in the District the night she did her first post on her new blog and have been a fan ever since. Thank you for the cup, I was trying not to feel too totally blown off these last two months and ten days (see that I was being playful in your honour and posted three “to-too-two” in one sentence). Cheers!
